Presents for women

- A range of special coffees or teas.
- Beautiful or scented candles
- Luxury bath oil (one big bottle or a couple of smaller ones in different scents). For friends you can get it at the chemist around the corner, for your wife you should get something more luxurious, try looking at airport perfume stores of special cosmetics stores
- Enlargements of her favourite holiday pictures. Get three of them and put them in matching frames
-Tickets to a concert, a movie or the theater. Combine these with something tangible like flowers, so there's something to enjoy right away
- A bottle of very, very good wine. Only if it is really something special you can give only one bottle, otherwise get at least two. Instead of wine, you can think of other alcoholic beverages
- A home cooked dinner at candle light (at least three courses). This is more special then going out for dinner. When it is her birthday get her a present too. But because you're cooking it doesn't have to be a big or expensive one.
- A stuffed animal, give it a name and say it will keep her warm when you are not there
- A gift bag for bathing filled with a nice bath oil, some candles, a fluffy towel, body lotion
- Flower bulbs (if she's a gardener of course)

General tips

- Don't always think in tangible things, like jewellery, perfume, wineglasses or flowers. In stead try to create a meaningful moment i.e. a picknick, tickets to a concert, a home cooked three course dinner by candle light or a booklet filled with pictures and memories
- Don't buy more things for people who already have everything. It will just end up being a dust collector or item no. 1000 in a stuffed cupboard. In stead get them something they will use up in everyday life, for example nice coffees, teas or candles
- Don't give people things you yourself like, try to imagine what they would like
